Each piece is wheel-thrown, hand-altered, reduction fired, and glazed in two different glazes, once all over and once more while I hold it at the alteration point, leaving my handprint. The glaze breaks differently every time. No two tumblers will ever look alike.
Colorways fall within three feeling families: sanctuary, hearth, and space. Each a place of refuge, somewhere you return to, somewhere that holds you, somewhere that feels like home. Or you can get something else entirely that defies categorization if you choose mystery. Either way it will be stunning!
If you've fallen in love with a specific colorway you've seen and want that one made just for you, you can submit a studio commission request. Because of the nature of reduction firing, your piece may have its own expression of that colorway.
